When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Ruby Vine Afghani
The mom here was found in a pack of Kandahar Afghani from Bodhi, a beautiful deep red stemmed specimen that smelled of cedar and mothballs and was very sedative. She was initially hit with a Black Afghani from Underground Seed Company and from there a male was selected that was most like the mom.
