Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 100%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Rye

There are 2 versions, progeny coming from the #81 females will be shorter and grow more lateral, with an almost sweet cream smell, or pure powdered sugar, stemming from the Platinum selections we've done over generation. The second version coming from the #94 female, will have a taller stature and be more true to the rye like smell, very sour, very pungent reminiscent to the old school Sour D. Both versions supporting nice big round buds, easy trim, heavy yields. Both versions are great for production growing, inside and out or mixed light!
