Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Salpicón F2
The beautiful jam Pheno Sparkies was selected for the creation of Salpicón F1, and in this second generation, we wanted to highlight even more those terpenes from the great-grandmother, the Grape Zkittlez, without sacrificing the production and resistance that Salpicón already brings us. Therefore, we created this second filial generation to delve into those recessive genes that we admire so much from the parents and grandparents. Aroma: Fresh fruit salad with sweet undertones
