Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Something tells me these two strains are going to cross very well together and I'm excited to see how they come out myself. The SBS mother has a distinctly warm & sour smell that almost seems paradoxical. Expect a boost to yield and terps from the SBS and keep an eye out for the extreme frost of the BPH.
