Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Sasha
It is the encounter between two high quality parentals, Obama Kush (Skunk genetics, OG Kush and Afghani) and Birthday Cake (Girl Scout Cookies x Cherry Pie), bringing together the best of both worlds and resulting in a strong, productive and adaptable variety that will delight lovers of good Indicas. Sasha grows quite vigorously, doubling in size and taking on the appearance of a well-branched shrubby hybrid with spaced internodes and flexible yet strong stems. This structure makes it easy to cultivate both indoors and outdoors, with lush plants of up to 2m cultivated directly in open ground. If, on the contrary, we want a discreet cultivation or more manageable plants, the size can be controlled by using SCROG and LST techniques. This results in low plants and numerous colas of flowers during the flowering stage. It is not too demanding on nutrients but benefits from a good fertiliser supply and enough hours of light in order to display its full aromatic and psychoactive potential. Sasha produces a slightly above average yield, offering a yield of up to 500g per m2 in an indoor grow tent when provided with ideal conditions. Outdoors and with large plants, it can easily yield over
