When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Sativa's Sour Diesel
The New York Power Diesel has been on the menu for many years and we decided to jazz her up by backcrossing her with her ancestor the Sour Diesel. She has a light green color and is a medium to tall plant with some variation between the phenos. Especially the taller pheno you should top or fim as she tends to stretch. The buds are tall sativa shaped candles and look like they have been hit by frostbite with a white glow all over. She is a medium to good yielder of supreme quality. Sativa’s Sour Diesel leans more towards the ancestral genes of the Sour Diesel with a wonderfully overpowering diesel aroma that has hints of red grapefruit. So what’s there not to love?
