Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Scent of Olympus

Hand selected from one of 10,000 pheno hunted females from the family stock the strain is bound and heavy resinous buds with water leaves that frost out like in early December frost. Father (Hercules) showed amazing vigor under multiple levels of stress including pest and mold while being hit with substandard conditions. The strain has never been entered in competitions or been out for wholesale the family believes in secrecy not publicity. The strain gets released in dispensaries once a year with proceeds going to multiple charities
