Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Schromba
The mother of this cross is a clone-only strain made by Schroomy420 in the early 2000’s crossing a Romulan with a ’74 Santa Marta Columbian. The clone has stood the test of time, still in many gardens after over 20 years, and now a favorite of growers making extracts. Schrom has similar terpene profiles to “Sage” and “Trainwreck” – sweet and piney with a lemony flavor.
