THC-dominant

Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Seemango

Somango blends the multiple hybrid Jack Herer with Big Skunk Korean to form the fruitiest of all Soma’s strains.. Somango is optimal as a multiple branch plant, since its genetics encourage long side branches and a height on the taller side. A sea of green method can still be undertaken, but branching and height will need to be controlled. As it matures, the leaves shade to purple and the buds become covered in a carpet of crystals. While a moderate yielder, Somango’s bud possesses sublime qualities. The fragrant and tasty Somango delivers a buzz that is very uplifting and mentally stimulating in its effects. Indoor flowering period: 8-9 weeks Outdoor harvest time: End of September Indoor yield: 500-600 g/m2 Outdoor yield: 550-600 g/plant Height: Medium THC: 19%
