Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About SFV Haze
One of our only OG crosses. Done circa 2012, this was a idea we had to produce a OG cross. We went with the SFV due to it unique flavor profile. Its one that we liked back in that time.
The SFV OG was from Dark Heart Clones in oakland at Harborside. It was a big producer and had a gas profile but more of a big popcorn bud structure. Along with its stagnant growth and being quite finicky we wanted to steer those issues clear.
Our male haze made most of the haze line we have. Not much its crossed with goes over 10 weeks. It imbues its internode length, vigor, gland production, and growth. Then doesnt transfer flavor, length of flower time, or other things that make the haze a strain most avoid.
This finishes early November and indoors in 70-77 days most being in 10 weeks some in 9. The flavor and bud structure follows the SFV with volume being increased. Topping this cultivar can yield benefits since the top of the plant is where it focuses its energy. Trichomes cover this plant and it grows short for a haze cross. We found 3-4' was the average so a veg going into 14-16" could be a good idea. It has a good appetite and 1300ppm should be a easy goal to hit without burn.
