Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Shadow Master
Flower Cycle: 16-20 Weeks The Shadow Master started many years ago when I sourced Highland Thai and Highland Laotian from the Golden Triangle borders of Northern Thailand, Myanmar and Laos. The Highland Burmese Thai would be procured from tribal people along the border who had been farming these long season Highland Thais for many generations. They came wrapped in local newspaper. Once grown out for a few generations in Northern Thailand some of these were P1 and P2 generations though the male that I used for the Shadow Lao was from straight heirloom landrace seed straight from the hills tribes along the Myanmar border
