Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Our Forbidden Fruit #11, alongside or Bahama Peel & Oops, has the most intense terpenes we've ever encountered. Overpowering blueberry yogurt and red ring pop. The pollen donor to this strain (Midnight Glizzy) is no terpene slouch either. We are currently running Shadowfruit for the first time ourselves, so it is only part way tested. Previous Forbidden Fruit crosses we have done have resulted in a high rate of offspring that are sensitive to certain environmental conditions. However; Star Supremacy offspring such as Midnight Glizzy have been exceptionally stable - a trait we anticipate passing down to the Snowdawgs. Proceed with caution, but expect greatest.
