Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Sholgar
Sholgar is another district in Balkh province, famous within Balkh chillum houses to have some of the strongest terpiest hash around. Funky motor oil, gassy, fresh and strong is the dominant profiles in these cultivars. The Qairang river feeds these plains with micro nutrients and mineral rich sediments every year, this is probably why these plants have evolved to carry such pleasant terps.
