Chemotype
Type III
CBD-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Short & Sweet Auto
Heavyweight have crossed two notoriously powerful strains, AK-49 and White Widow.
The result is a devastatingly strong auto that will put even the most seasoned smoker on their ass! Short & Sweet produces rock hard buds that glisten with white crystals. Plenty of ventilation is required if growing indoors, as Short & Sweet will quickly envelop any non-ventilated room with an intense, spicy odour.
Cultivation couldn’t be easier and very little experience is required to get the best from this blend of two cannabis legends; this makes Short & Sweet a great introduction to cultivation for the novice gardener. A good tip is to initially plant the seedlings in large pots, as this greatly reduces the stress that can occur whilst transferring the plants into larger pots over the course of growth; as seed to harvest takes around 55-65 days only, this will significantly reduce stress and ensure the maximum yield.
Short & Sweet borders on a hallucinogenic experience – don’t say you haven’t been warned! Genetics: AK49 x White Widow x Ruderalis
Type: Sativa 60% Indica 40%
CBD: 1%
Height: 70-100cm
Yield: 500-700gr/m2
