Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Combining the structure, yield, and effects of Silky Johnson F2 from Inhouse Genetics with the terpene profile and effect of the Max Cherry we created a monster and a staple to any exotic lineup of flower. This hybrid cannot disappoint, every single pheno was worth keeping in the testing phase choosing which was best was the hard part. We liked the Silky Johnson and Max Cherry pheno that was about half of each parent possessing yield, great structure and vigor, an incredibly impressive nose that translates well to the palette with a crushing potency.
