Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Skunk No. 1
This is the plant that set the standard in California, and is now me most famous plant in America. Originally an Indica-Sativa hybrid, Skunk #1 is one of the most constantly performing true breeding strains in the world. An absolute must for all outdoor and greenhouse growers. Skunk has been known to yield up to 5 pounds per plant. Also does well indoors, but produces better yields as a hybrid with Northern Lights # 5 or Big Bud. Very high calyx-to-leaf ratio, little manicure required. Outdoor heigh: 7-9 ft.
