Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About SLV OG

Being that the Taxi has some OG in the lineage (triangle and legend), I figured add some more with one of my favorites, the San Fernando valley or SFV OG. The SFV brings out those classic OG Kush terps like fresh tennis balls, rubbery gas and mens cologne. The Taxi brings more foody funk and a nicer yield. Expect big stretchy plants with thick, golf ball like OG buds. Early 70’s for the finish
