Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Snow City

Snow City is an Alaskan strain bred & selected by Greensleeves Genetics. She is a beautiful cross between the iconic California Blue Dream and an especially frosty Ace of Spades. A slightly sativa-dominant strain with a stellar sweet aroma & flavor. Smoking is accompanied by a buzzy, thought provoking high. This plant grows very vigorously with a multi-branching structure that takes little to no training. Buds form evenly in size & formation with no shortage of trichomes on them. The flowers produced resemble Blue Dreams vibrant green flowers with the darker shades reflecting hues of blue behind the trichomes; nugs shapes are more medium sized but great density
