Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Snow Diesel
Known for its freakish ability to yield in indoor gardens, results of 2 lbs. per 1000W are being reported with many of the mother selections within this hybrid. Using the Snow Lotus male lends structure and uniformity to what would otherwise be a rather long, unruly plant…thus making its heights manageable to work well in any sized garden. Watch for a variation of panoptic diesel aromas…from a sweet candy diesel, all the way to a funk-ranky diesel with subtle shifts in between. Snow Diesel reflects these unique terpene shifts most notably in soil organics, but the hybrid shows its vibrancy, potency and spirited growth in all growing mediums. Plant Structure: Uniform branchy, vigorous vegetative growth, long stretch
