Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Soma Salad
Soma Salad by Soma Sacred Seeds represents a unique concept developed through Soma’s many years of breeding experience. Known for combining different cannabis genetics, Soma refers to these combinations as his “Soma’s Salad”. For this strain, several traditional lines were brought together, including Super Skunk, Big Skunk Korean and Jack Herer. The result is an exceptional hybrid that combines both Indica and Sativa influences. A Complex Genetic Combination The name Soma Salad reflects the basic idea behind the strain. Like the different ingredients in a salad, several cannabis lines contribute their individual characteristics to create a shared overall profile. Rather than focusing on the traits of a single genetic line, Soma combines a variety of influences to produce a complex and diverse hybrid. Cultivation and Aroma Soma Salad is versatile in cultivation and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor growing. It can also perform well in a greenhouse. The combination of Sativa and Indica genetics may result in varying plant structures and growth characteristics, depending on the phenotype and cultivation conditions. The aroma of Soma Salad also reflects its diverse lineage. Its p
