Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About SourJefe
El Jefe is an extremely large cross between the p91 and the SD Hog. When it comes to size she is by far the biggest in our collection. Just as with most big yielding plants the flavor is pleasant, but in our opinion somewhat lacking. Our goal for this project was to keep that same commercial size yield that we expect to see from "The Boss" and add a little sour twang to the mix. With SourJefe we have done just that, and have managed to increase the enjoyment of the smoke by bringing more of that sour twang flavor while still maintaining those epic yields we expect to see from our Jefe crosses!
