Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About SPG Breeding Line 1
Die erste SPG Breeding Line setzt sich aus verschiedenen Sweet Chunk Generationen zusammen. Dabei wurde vor allem auf eine möglichst grosse Ähnlichkeit zum originalen SPG Clone selektiert. Linie 1. wächst sehr Sativa typisch und produziert mittelfeste Blütenstände, die mit denen der SPG durchaus vergleichbar sind. Der Harzbesatz kann als "sehr gut" bezeichnet werden, auch wenn dieser bei der Breeding Line2. etwas stärker ausgeprägt ist. Das Aroma ist durchweg süsslich, trotzdem kann man beim rauchen einen kleinen Grapefruit Einschlag spüren. Im Vergleich zum SPG Clone ist der Geruch etwas süsslicher, vielleicht auch ein klein wenig dunkler. Der Ertrag dieser Zuchtlinie liegt im oberen Durchschnitt und kann als "gut" bezeichnet werden. Die Pflanzen kommen aufgrund ihrer mostly Sativa Genetik auch gut mit dem Beschneiden des Haupttriebes zurecht. Die Blütezeit beträgt ca. 60-65.Tage. Die SPG Breeding Line 1. ist eine sehr schöne Sorte, die schon recht nahe am originalen Cut liegt und typische Merkmale der SPG aufweist. Wäre die dritte Zuchtlinie nicht noch näher an dem Sweet Pink Grapefruit Clone, dann wäre Linie 1. die Genetik, mit der wir weiter gearbeitet hätten. Information:
