Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Spiderbite
When first creating this strain, it was not intended to be an available line to public but it was created as a test subject to run side by side with the crater lake and a few other SSH crosses. A litmus test if you may... The genes aligned into pure gems, with the SpiderBite being born.... The SSH male that was used is a haze dominant male that was the best looking (structure and resin) plant out of 30 seedlings. The C99/WW female is an amazingly easy to grow, potent, and stable plant. It has a very strong odor of skunky citrus. She is a favorite among many patients for a good all day pain medicine with a nice clear high. All females thus far have exhibited similar characteristics, which include;
* citrus smells that range from lemon,lime and grapefruit...
* bloom times ranging from 10-12 weeks (haze dom was more towards 12wk)
* all plants stretch up and outward 1-2x(typical xmas tree structure)
* high resin content, even on large fan leaves.
