When first creating this strain, it was not intended to be an available line to public but it was created as a test subject to run side by side with the crater lake and a few other SSH crosses. The SSH male that was used is a haze dominant male that was the best looking (structure and resin) plant out of 30 seedlings. The C99/WW female is an amazingly easy to grow, potent, and stable plant. It has a very strong odor of skunky citrus. She is a favorite among many patients for a good all day pain medicine with a nice clear high. All females thus far have exhibited similar characteristics, which include; * citrus smells that range from lemon,lime and grapefruit... * bloom times ranging from 10-12 weeks (haze dom was more towards 12wk) * all plants stretch up and outward 1-2x(typical xmas tree structure) * high resin content, even on large fan leaves. * large sativa buds that shoot Foxtails The two distinct phenos vary by height and stretch. Pheno #1 had a 2x stretch while, Pheno #2 had 1x stretch but was a bit more wide than #1. Both phenos smelled very similar. The Spiderbite has remained sticky even when the bud is bone-dry with a 2 month cure.
