Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Strawberry Guava
Strawberry Guava won recognition at Chalice in 2017 as the 2nd place winner for Best Non-Solvent Concentrate as well as 1st place for Highest Terpenes in a Non-Solvent. This terpy goddess is a cross of 14er StrawNana and a rare cut of Papaya. Bloom’s Strawberry Guava is the child of two cultivars with awesome flavor profiles and strong growth characteristics. The result is an almost-guava, heavy starburst and sweet cheese flavor that provides a massive yield and exceptional resin production. Great for concentrates, delivering a euphoric, relaxing and somewhat sedating feeling. Veg time of 3-4 weeks depending on cropping method with a finish at 9-10 weeks. Characteristics
