Lineage/Genetics Strawberry HashPlant x Strawberry HashPlant Strawberry HashPlant = (Strawberry Diesel x Old Time Moonshine) Strawberry Yum Yum is a legacy cannabis strain first bred by Mosca Seeds over 20 years ago. The cross came from Strawberry Diesel and Old Time Moonshine (OTM), the latter originally created by DJ Short. In her early days, she was also known as Strawberry Hash Plant, a nod to her resin-heavy structure and rich, hashy flavors. What set this cross apart was the influence of OTM — a strain famous for its wide range of unusual mutations and expressions. That diversity brought a unique depth to Strawberry Yum Yum, producing phenotypes with sweet strawberry notes, earthy hash undertones, and complex terpene profiles. Fast forward 18 years to 2022: an OG grower reached out, still in love with Strawberry Yum Yum and searching for more seeds. We dug deep into the Mosca Seeds vault and uncovered several thousand original, 20-year-old seeds. After germination testing, we were blown away by a 95% success rate — an amazing result for seeds of that age. From there, we grew out 500 seeds and selected the best expressions of Strawberry Yum Yum we could find. What we discovere
