Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Sudachi
This strains parents are Tahiti Lime #7 (F) x Oishii (M) and was created as a project to stabilize and get better yields from the Tahiti Lime genetics. The female TL #7 plant was a low yielder for hash but had a very lime green lifesaver flavor. We paired her with an Oishii male since this male has created dumpers before, and some of the Oishii genetic line is similar to the Tahiti Lime genetics. We felt this would be a good pairing to create some tasty offspring and we were not wrong! Our winning cut, Sudachi #4, is a dumper in hash, grows vigorously, and has an intense candy lime flavor that we have come to crave more and more!
