Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Super Lemon Haze, in all its glory, meets its nemesis, The Indica Dominant Death Star! Pure Hybrid. Both of our mother and father plants are super high THC strains. This strain is one of my personal favorite strains and I do not say that lightly. I love knock out indicas but flavors of citrus dominating the smells.
