Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Over three years of breeding work, selected in Germany and first hand-selected in 2022 by Quentin Terpentino: a tall growing genetic with impressive stability and character. Due to its unique structure (large internodal spacing and medium sized buds), Sweet Saber is perfectly suited for outdoor growers. It impresses with massive resistances to botrytis, powdery mildew, fusarium, aspergillus, and all other problematic fungi.
Sweet Saber also delivers a brutal stretch and an unmistakable appearance - the result of careful selection since 2022.
Available only for a short time, after which work on the cultivar will continue, and an official release will come no earlier than late 2026/early 2027.
