Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Sweet ZZ
The fruity aroma and succulent flavour produced by Sweet ZZ is a must for candy-loving cannabis growers. Tempting the senses all the way to harvest, her glistening buds are like your very own sweet shop. Combined with an equally uplifting high, she is a thoroughly enjoyable indica hybrid that leaves your body relaxed, and your mind refreshed. Sweet ZZ: A Taste Sensation That Bursts With Fruity Flavours
We bred Sweet ZZ using parent strains Grape Ape and Grapefruit—she's our own version of the legendary indica-dominant hybrid Zkittlez. The masterful blend of genetics that has led to the development of Sweet ZZ represents just how far cannabis cultivation has come. Despite her indica dominance, Sweet ZZ keeps her effects firmly focussed on the mind, not the body. Typically, indica strains centre on providing relief to aching muscles with a mild feeling of euphoria. Sweet ZZ flips the game on its head. Still leaving you relaxed, her attention is instead turned toward hitting you with waves of uplifting thoughts and feel-good vibes. AN ERUPTION OF BERRIES, CITRUS AND CANDY
She is the physical embodiment of happiness. The emotion exudes through her flavour profile, saccharine taste, and
