Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About T-Rex Arms
Mother: Jungle Soiree #4 - Bamboo-like vertical growth. Not crazy tall but very straight, sturdy branches with dense, frosty, christmas tree shaped buds. A bit less terps than the GG4 cut, but makes up for it with structure. Also washes very well. "Father":Marshmallow Diesel - Glorious cut gifted by Lobster Craft. Sweet marshmallow terps. 10/10 yield but with a long flowering time (70-75 days). T-rex Arms: So far the offspring have been tall, stacked trees with green buds and a flowering time of 65-75 days - with a few phenos wanting to go even longer. Distinctive marshmallow smells on my favorite phenos. Good washer. Herm-Risk: High. Half of the phenos we tested of T-rex arms hermed to some degree (a few scattered sacs), but the one's that didn't made it well worth it. This is a high risk/reward strain for those that love the hunt. Not expected to have this herm problem outdoors - more info on that soon.
