Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Tahiti Lime

The potent Tahiti Lime strain bred by Archive Seeds bank is a cross of (Dosidos x Zkittles 25) x Lemon & Lime. This tasty Tahiti Lime strain was bred by none other than Archive Seeds. A creative cross between Zkittles and Dosidos, the plant of this Tahiti Lime strain forms dense, sizable flowers. These flowers also secrete a superb sour candy scent. Every bud of this strain is a little unique, featuring varying shades of green, alongside bright orange pistils. Like most strains from Archive Seeds, a layer of sticky, crystallised trichomes surround plant and buds alike. Furthermore, the leaves of this plant includes an incredible velvet-like aesthetic. Aromatically, the buds of this Tahiti Lime strain smell predominantly of sour candy. However, users of this strain also mention notable hints of sweet lime on the tongue, followed by a warm and bubbly effect to the individual. These effects were noted to last up to several hours, but ultimately depends on your tolerence. With a THC rating of 26.5%, this hybrid hammerhead is one potent strain, so don’t push yourselves! Lastly, due to the limited data available on the Tahiti Lime strain, we cannot supply information such as average yiel
