Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Tasman Haze
On 13th December 1642, Abel Tasman, that famous Dutch explorer was the first european to discover the islands of New-Zealand. He saw a beautiful land, lush and green with forests, with crystal clear rivers and lakes and a climate very good for growing. Tasman Haze is our salute to that amazing time. Strong growth with dense buds all the way up the branches thanks to the haze/sativa influence. The father to this plant is 40% indica, hence the pungent aroma of Tasman Haze which ends up covered in crystals. The mother is a 100% sativa giving the rich, spicy undertones typical of the Tasman Haze. A strain fit to satisfy any explorer. Genetics: Sativa 80% / Indica 20%
