Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Thai Dye
Backstory: We took a Potent Purple mutant thai pheno crosses that into our remake of Blue Magoo. The F1 generation was easy to produce but selection on the f2 seeds took about 600 sproutings and took just over a year. Once we made it to the F3 our work was paid off. Appearance: Thai Dye is a Sativa/Indica cross (60% Sativa / 40% Indica) with very Afghani phenotypic characteristics. The medium sized, tight, round buds are made up of small, densely packed purple, green and silvery blue calyxes. The plant is tall with minimal side branching. The plants produce an abundance of trichomes covering every leaf and leaflet. This plant will drip with resin. Smell and Taste: Has a grape rotten berry smell that fade into a honey-like berry aroma. The taste is all fruit with a slight edge of exotic hashes. Potent Purple Thai pheno from Reeferman circa 2008 X Blue Newgoo BX2 (Joe's Og Kush X True Blue DJ shorts = Joe's Blueberry X Williams Wonder)
