Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Thaitan
The Thaitan was another part of the Thailand legalization celebration breeding program. In early 2022 I was on vacation in Thailand with my girlfriend to visit her family.
Her grandmother gave me a few seeds she picked right from a plant that was growing wild on her property in the Nong Bua Daeng area. I took them home, grew them out and found a beautiful female with a nice smell, a very good structure, high Yields and a good bud to leaf ratio. With 12 weeks she also finished quite fast for a real Thai Landrace. At the same time I had an awesome 7D male from Fang （the Genetic Designer from the Gage Green Group） in my Garden. The same male I made the Amadeus with. Flowering time is between 10 and 11 weeks. Yields are huge. Smells amazing
