Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About The Dutchess
I was gifted a very special DutchTreat No.5 a few years back... She has a rich limonene terp content and just wreaks. A stupefying Sativa that yields well but takes 11-12 weeks to finish and must be trellised. While it seemed an odd match the coupling has become a favorite among growers in our community. The resulting hybrid yields well, smells amazing and has better structure than the mon as well as shortened flower times. Yield: Medium
Flowering Time: 10-11 Weeks
Plant Height: Medium-Tall
Genetics: Dutch treat X Alien Kush F2
