Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

History of the Tiger's Milk Cannabis Strain Tiger's Milk is a cannabis strain created by Bodhi of Bodhi Seeds, a mysterious breeder who has created a plethora of strains, many of which descend from landrace genetics he collected while travelling. Unfortunately, Bodhi is very low-key and shares very little information about his strains, their origins, and growth traits. In interviews, Bodhi explains that he has long had a passion for entheogenic plants/fungi/concoctions like ayahuasca, mushrooms, and mescaline cacti. His passion for cannabis, however, came later, after learning about the spiritual space the plant occupied in regions such as the Himalayas. Today, Bodhi continues to preach about cannabis' role as a spiritual plant and encourages users, growers, and breeders to explore the realm of cannabis and spirituality more profoundly. Other f
