Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Track Star
A beautiful phenotype of our Stellar Dream crossed with our Freedom Express male. Indica dominant. We didn’t cross with any high CBD strains either to get the 2% CBD that the Stellar crosses boast. Better branching and a little more THC than the Stellar Dream and there are purple/blue phenotypes. Easy to train for large plants and clones root fast. Flowers can take over most of the trim leaves making this especially easy to trim. 17% THC – 2% CBD (early cut)
