Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Trade Winds
Trade Winds
(Chamba / Lesotho x Yarkhun / Kashmiri Sirnoo) Trade Winds is a vigorous, fast flowering landrace hybrid of exceptional quality. We took our prized cultivars from Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, and crossed them with an electric sativa obtained from farmers in Lesotho. The subsequent F3 generation was then crossed with our stable Kashmiri/Yarkhun hybrid, to create this highly resistant, fast flowering, and incredibly fragrant varietal. She is perfect for both indoor and outdoor growers up to 50 degrees north, and has a strong resistance to the elements. Her effect is a happy, relaxed, yet energized feeling, coupled with a psychedelic edge that makes you keep coming back for more. She is a solid 50/50 hybrid, suitable to use as a wake and bake, or to chill out after a hard days work. With her musky, skunky, spicy terpenes, she will keep even the most discerning smokers interested until the jar is empty. Flowering indoors: 7-8 weeks
Flowering outdoors: Late September @45 north
Yield: High
Mold resistance: High
Pest resistance: High
Indica/Sativa: 50/50 hybrid
