Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Trilla

Trilla is an heavy yielding strain both in flower and hash. Most phenos stretch like GG#4 and have similar bud structure to the GG#4 although some shorter more Platinum Candy Mintz phenos have been found. Beautiful purple colors both on the buds and leaves come through during mid flower and finish almost black. The flavor profile ranges from minty chem to creamy grape. Test results on the breeder cut have topped 30% TAC
