Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Trop Dog
Trop Cherry is know for her beautiful fuchsia color and almost perfect structure. The taste is appealing to me with her flavor of overly ripe cherries and that unique earthy nutiness that contemporary cannabis users love. I wanted to add the kick that is missing with the Chemdog stud. Check that box. The gorgeous color still comes through on most phenotypes observed. Of course the added fuel flavor from the chem was present yet not overpowering making a desirable cross of the old school with the new school
