Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). My personal favorite cross I have made so far. Maui True Blood x The Purple Chef Reversal. The mother has a rich mangoes & Kerosene flavor which transfers over with hints of spices in the Tyrians. Great plant structure and heavy yielder. Softer Purple coloration have shown through more than the deep rich purple from the reversal
