Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Ultra Critical is a fast flowering hybrid that is capable of delivering massive yields. A favourite amongst both amateur and experienced cultivators worldwide. This strain is a true all-round performer. She has no problems with training or bending and performs equally well in both soil and hydro setups. Ultra Critical can be grown outdoors, but attention must be paid during the last weeks of flowering. Due to the structure (and size) of the buds she can be suspectible to mold. However, because of the fast flowering time she finishes earlier than many other strains. Ultra Critical's effects are strong and longlasting. Letting it ripen for a few days longer will alter the effects from a trippy high to a more sedative stone.
