Uptown Girl Strain

Uptown Girl is an indica/sativa hybrid clone-only strain from Dallas, Texas that originates from bag seed. The mother plant was selected and grown in the 2010's by a young lady in uptown, which is where the name comes from. The flowers were popular around Dallas during that during the latter half of the 2010's, particularly in Uptown and in the Cedars areas of the city. The exact genetic make up of the cut is unknown, however the way that the Uptown Girl grows and smokes does closely resemble what genetics from California were like in the the early 2000's. The Uptown Girl cut is a heavy yielding large Christmas tree shaped plant with long side branches that require support after about week 5 of flowering. Tastes like lemon scented pine floor cleaner and has a very strong indica stone. The grower gifted a clone of the cut to the Deep Ellum Seed Company in 2017, who were able to use the cut in a few breeding projects, before ultimately losing her in 2021. The grower has since retired and it is unsure if the original cut still exists anymore. The flower time is 9 weeks or so indoors and around the middle of October under the sun
