Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Urban Poison
Nirvana Urban Poison is a new indoor-suitable version of our famous South African marijuana strain Durban Poison. We took the Durban Poison seeds and crossed them with Northern Light, after which we back-crossed the resulting marijuana hybrid with its parent again. Eventually, we came up with this Sativa-dominant variety which retains an aroma of juniper berries and a trippy high. Structure and potency wise, this plant is comparable to modern indoor production strains. Plant type Predominantly Sativa
