Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

This was reflected once again in the selection of a male to do a seed increase and breed with a number of females that would compliment each other. Call it a throw back to the earlier days of The Emerald Cup Competition and one of those ‘had to be there moments’ at the judges table!!! Note: This began as a personal project—an exploration of the Black Lime Reserves RAW potential through carefully selected hybrids. After reserving just fifty seeds for future work, I’m left with fewer than ten packs per hybrid, making this one of the most limited releases I’ve shared. These aren’t just seeds. They’re ge
