Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Viragos

Viragos is a potent hybrid created by combining a Skunk #1 with a Super Skunk. Their progeny was then pollinated by a Jack the Ripper male to produce Viragos. We selected the most stunning phenotypes and began to breed for stabilization. Viragos was known for heavy resin production and is an excellent candidate for Solventless Hash. Terpenes: Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene - Traditional Hash Smell/Skunk Sex: Regular (R) Generation: F2 Flowering Time: ± 58 Days THC Potency: 24%+ Yield: Heavy
