Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About West Pie’d

Flower Cycle: 8-10 Weeks Aromas: grape & cherry hard candies & incense, sweet hashy grapes, spiced berry dough The West Pie’d was made using the clone only cut of West Coast Dog, which is known for its very quick flowering time & rock hard, trichome-laden golf ball size buds that remind me of artificial grape candy and nag champa. Only downside to her for me was she lacked potency imo, which is why we crossed her to our Pie95 stud. The results being a strain that is like a slightly more potent West Coast Dog with chem & cherry notes
