Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Westports Grape Juice is an aromatic and trichome-capped strain from Twin Peaks Cannabis in the PNW. Using a common vegetative duration of 30 days, this plant grows to a medium height indoors. She is an excellent producer, with average yields of around 250-300 grams of dried flower. Flowering finished within 55-60 days after flipping the Westports Grape Juice into flower. Although the origins remain a trade secret, we can confidentially guesstimate the genetic influence as 80% indica/20% sativa.
