Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About White Panther
The original white dwarf, now officially renamed White Panther, is a compact, white plant, suitable for the `sea-of-green method`. White Panther buds carry loads of crystals and have a pleasant, dreamy, sensual buzz. A resinous and very tasty variety. Twice favourite with the connoisseurs at the High Times Cannabis Cup 2000. White Panther is renamed to honour our friend, the poet and radio maker John Sinclair who co-founded the legendary White Panther party in 1968.
